Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the cornerstone of Pakistan. There are 12 Chambers for Small Traders & Small Industries. Small chambers assist members in creating practical grassroots actions to increase the businesses. They create a strong local economy. In 2013, Act was approved by the National Assembly of Pakistan; in which every district of Pakistan will have 3 Chambers. One is for Industry, the second for SMEs, and the third for Women. There will be no prime chamber and there will be no Provincial Chamber. All Chambers will have equal status to the District Chamber. Since its Inception, PCSTSI has been looking after the interest of small and medium enterprises and enduring their efforts for the promotion of SMEs in Pakistan. All Chambers are members of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
